Meeting BOD 8) 09/10/2006
I met BOD yesterday, upon receiving a thumb drive-like device supposedly to offer more security. The Token-Assisted Login (TAL) is a new service to enable subscribers to log-on to multiple applications with the use of a token that provide higher security (2-factors authentication) and convenience (user only need to remember the token pin). The solution also assists to eliminate / reduce the amount of on-site/ helpdesk requests to reset passwords, thus increasing productivity...
But hey, I did not request for this added security in the first place and now, BOD is here and my computer is stalled..
This brings me to remember a quote in my sms, and I think it is applicable to almost anything, including computers, friendships, relationships, etc.. Sent by an IT friend. He said this in relation on the lifespan of the thumb drive that they do fail eventually…
He said…Nothing is forever, not even the universe :-D
Test your Skills! Type and Score! :D
